The CcSP-ME2 Project is the second of all five CcSP-ME projects funded by the Dutch government under its national climate research programme, called Climate Changes Spatial Planning (CcSP). The current project’s main objective is "the development of a prototype of an operational system for quantifying the extend of the greenhouse gas-budget at national and regional level with its associated uncertainties". Furthermore, a protocol will be developed for a reference estimation with regard to national emission verification. The latter will create a possibility to verify the accuracy and credibility of the UNFCCC-reports and the Kyoto-reports. The current project will interact closely among others with CcSP-ME1 and CcSP-ME3 projects by using their obtained data from and provide its own data to these projects.
